Senior Project - Class of 2015
The application for Senior Project 2015 is now available. Please make sure to review all the requirements and submit all the paperwork on time. Senior Projects should be meaningful and create opportunities for students to leave their mark and do something productive that will assist them in their future endeavors. Congratulations to the MHS Senior girls on their 27-7 victory over Swampscott in the annual Powder Puff game!  Well done!!

The 2014-2015 Senior Class calendar can be found on the Senior Class Website under Mrs. Clough's website.  Information on the website will be updated as events approach - please note that the Refrigerator Letter is last year's version.

Also be sure to visit the MHS Yearbook website to place an ad.  Parents can place a recognition ad for their student; Seniors can design personal ads, singly or with friends:

Class of 2015 - Senior Portraits
Grynn and Barrett Photography has been contracted by Marblehead High School to take Senior Portraits.  Seniors, you will be receiving marketing information from G & B Photography within the next few weeks.   In the meantime, please call them to schedule your appointment at 800-639-2104.  Please note the the yearbook accepts only senior portraits taken by G & B.  Personal photographers cannot be used.

School Advisory Council
We are very pleased to announce our School Advisory Council (SAC) for the 2014-15 school year:
  • Parent Representatives:  Dee Colcord, Theresa Finn Dever, Kim Girard, Cristina Turnbull
  • Teacher Representatives:  Hogan Guider, Winnie Thornton, Stephen Venezia
  • Student Representatives:  Maeve Daley, Wilson Judy, Lindsey Rae, Julia Lothrop (alternate), Josh Okon (alternate)
The school advisory council meets monthly on the third Thursday in the afternoon from 3 to 4 PM in the main office conference room at the high school.  The SAC assists the principal in the identification of the educational needs of students and makes recommendations for the development and implementation of programs to support those needs.  The SAC also provides significant input into the development of both the high school’s budget requests and the school improvement plan.  These are public meetings and open to all who would like to attend.

National Honor Society (NHS)
Having trouble in a class? Need some extra help? Want help studying for a test?  NHS students are here to help. Free tutoring is available during studies in the library.  Other times available on request. All grades and levels welcome.  Email nhstutoringmhs@gmail.com, fill out the online Tutoring Request Form or talk to NHS Tutoring Coordinator Koby Michaels to sign up.

National Grand Bank of Marblehead, High School Branch
The High School bank branch is open on Monday, Thursday and Friday during lunch 11:00-12:00.

Parent Portal
Usernames and passwords to our new student information system were sent out a few weeks back.
  • Parents and students can access the system directly at: http://aspen.marbleheadschools.org/aspen.
  • Parents should access the Contact Verification Workflow to update their contact details and other information about their children.  All parents are requested to use this process as soon as possible.  This process is replacing the yellow or white cards you would fill out each year to update your emergency card information.   The school nurses will still be sending home a card with some health and permission questions.
  • We have posted a series of instructions and other information about Aspen for your reference on our web page at http://www.marbleheadschools.org/technology/aspen.  Step-by-step instructions for filling out the Contact Verification Workflow can be found on this site.
  • If you have trouble with your account or have other questions, please contact us at aspen@marbleheadschools.org.

Marblehead All Sports Boosters

Student Lockers
All students will be provided with a locker but due to budgetary constraints we will not be able to supply a padlock.  Students may bring in and use their own locks on their lockers, but need to be aware that in case of an emergency we may need to remove them.  The school will not be liable for replacement costs if this is the case.
